FLYING OVER PERU (4K UHD) - Relaxing Music Along With Beautiful Nature Videos - 4K Video HD
Peru is a country in South America that's home to a section of Amazon rainforest and Machu Picchu, an ancient Incan city high in the Andes mountains. The region around Machu Picchu, including the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail and colonial city of Cusco, is rich in archaeological sites. On Peru’s arid Pacific coast is Lima, the capital, with a preserved colonial center and important collections of pre-Columbian art.

Unpublished vintage photos of Peru
Unpublished vintage photos of ancient Peru. Most of these photos have never been published by me, although I have already made 4 videos about vintage photos of Peru and Bolivia (About Machu Picchu, about Puma Punku and Tiwanaku and etc). This video will show vintage photos of Sacsayhuaman, Ollantaytambo, Cusco, Coricancha and other places.
1) Sacsayhuaman - Sacsayhuamán, often spelled Saqsaywaman or Xacxaguaman, (possibly from Quechua, waman falcon or variable hawk), is a citadel on the northern outskirts of the city of Cusco, Peru, the historic capital of the Inca Empire. The site is at an altitude of 3,701 m (12,142 ft).
Coordinates: 13°30′28″S 71°58′56″W The official version claims that - The complex was built by the Incas in the 15th century, but in fact it may be several tho...

Faces of Peru (Part 1) Peruvian People
http://nomadicsamuel.com : The faces of Peru is a slideshow series showcasing the distinct faces of Peru. Peruvian people are known for their Incan roots, high altitude lifestyle and diverse cuisine. Most of my photos are from Cusco, Cuzco, Huacachina, Ica and Lake Titicaca locals. One can notice the different facial expressions:
smiles, grins, frowns, and everything in between. Most of the pictures are of happy faces although some show more gritty emotions.

Peru is probably one of South America’s most well-known destinations, and the mysterious settlement of Machu Picchu has adorned many a tourist postcard. But while the country is certainly celebrated for the Inca Trail and its ancient archeological site, Peru has so much more to offer than crumbling ruins. Explore the museums of Lima, soak in the hot springs of high-altitude Cusco, and fly over the astonishing Nazca lines. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Peru:

Peru is a country in South America that's home to a section of Amazon rainforest and Machu Picchu, an ancient Incan city high in the Andes mountains. The region around Machu Picchu, including the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail and colonial city of Cusco, is rich in archaeological sites. On Peru’s arid Pacific coast is Lima, the capital, with a preserved colonial center and important collections of pre-Columbian art.

Coordinates: 13°30′28″S 71°58′56″W The official version claims that - The complex was built by the Incas in the 15th century, but in fact it may be several thousand years older (from the end of the Bronze Age period)!
2) Cusco or Cuzco ([ˈkusko]; Quechua: Qusqu ([ˈqɔsqɔ])), is a city in southeastern Peru near the Urubamba Valley of the Andes mountain range. It is the capital of the Cusco Region and of the Cusco Province. The city was the capital of the Inca Empire from the 13th century until the 16th-century Spanish conquest. In 1983, Cusco was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The indigenous name of this city is Qusqu. Although the name was used in Southern Quechua, its origin is found in the Aymara language. The word is derived from the phrase qusqu wanka ('rock of the owl'), related to the city's foundation myth of the Ayar siblings. According to this legend, Ayar Awqa (Ayar Auca) acquired wings and flew to the site of the future city; there he was transformed into a rock to mark the possession of the land by his ayllu ("lineage"). The Spanish conquistadors (Spanish soldiers) adopted the local name, transcribing it according to Spanish phonetics as Cuzco or, less often, Cozco. According to the official version, The Killke people occupied the region from 900 to 1200 CE, prior to the arrival of the Inca in the 13th century. Carbon-14 dating of Saksaywaman, the walled complex outside Cusco, established that Killke constructed the fortress about 1100 CE. The Inca later expanded and occupied the complex in the 13th century. The other most reasonable hypothesis is that some of the structures in Cuzco may be much older, from the end of the Bronze Age. Such an Idol as Viracocha and his companions are the Phoenicians who arrived in America at the end of the Bronze Age and at the beginning of the Iron Age and played the role of local "gods" (Viracocha, Tlaloc, Kukulkan and some others).
3) Coricancha, Koricancha, Qoricancha or Qorikancha ("The Golden Temple," from Quechua quri gold; kancha enclosure) was the most important temple in the Inca Empire. It is located in Cusco, Peru, which was the capital of the empire. Coordinates: 13°31′12″S 71°58′32″W
Originally named Intikancha or Intiwasi, it was dedicated to Inti, and is located at the former Inca capital of Cusco. Most of the temple was destroyed after the 16th-century war with the Spanish conquistadors. Some buildings in Coricancha in theory (hypothetically) may be several thousand years older than the official science of history and archeology says Since they are radically different from the surrounding primitive buildings (which are not so ancient).
4) Ollantaytambo (Quechua: Ullantaytampu) is a town and an Inca archaeological site in southern Peru some 72 km (45 mi) by road northwest of the city of Cusco. It is located at an altitude of 2,792 m (9,160 ft) above sea level in the district of Ollantaytambo, province of Urubamba, Cusco region. During the Inca Empire, Ollantaytambo was the royal estate of Emperor Pachacuti, who conquered the region, and built the town and a ceremonial center. At the time of the Spanish conquest of Peru, it served as a stronghold for Manco Inca Yupanqui, leader of the Inca resistance. Coordinates: 13°15′29″S 72°15′48″W Official science claims that Around the mid-15th century, the Inca emperor Pachacuti conquered and razed Ollantaytambo. But the fact is that there are some polygonal megalithic structures that are incredibly and radically different from all the other more primitive buildings of the local Indians. Who and when and why built them? - it's unknown.
5) The video contains other vintage photos of other archaeological sites in Peru, and just vintage photos of Cusco and the surrounding area from that period. And some modern photos for comparison (photos of modern time in Peru).

smiles, grins, frowns, and everything in between. Most of the pictures are of happy faces although some show more gritty emotions.
